Ministries
First Baptist Dublin provides many opportunities for individuals to grow, serve, and get involved in the life of the church. Read through the ministries below to find out what is available and how you can connect with us.

The Music and Worship Ministry of First Baptist seeks to bring honor and glory to the name of Christ each week as we lead God's people of all ages in corporate worship.

We exist to come alongside families in introducing kids to a relationship with Jesus Christ and leading them to be lifelong disciples of Him.
-
Heart Transformation
We are looking to transform the hearts of children to love and fear God. Through establishing Christ as our center, our children can come to know true repentance and life in God.
-
Kingdom Expanding
Christ's final command to His people was to make disciples of all nations. We begin fulfilling that command at home with our own children and families.
-
Culture Shaping
We do not want to raise a generation of Christians that sit on the side lines. We want to empower them to have a swift and precise impact on our culture and community for Christ.
WEEKLY GATHERINGS
Sunday Morning
Sunday School
We offer Sunday School for our Pre-K-5th graders. We offer Bible Fellowship Groups (formerly known as Sunday School classes) for our k4-5th graders where they are discipled and learn God’s Word through the Bible Studies for Life curriculum. This study plan builds upon the Levels of Biblical Learning so that as kids grow, their understanding of foundational truths grows with them.
Kids Worship
Kids begin the corporate worship time in the Sanctuary with their families to learn from their primary influencers (their family) what it means and how to worship. Before the sermon, kids Pre-K-3rd grade are invited to the kids worship center to sing songs arranged for kids (many of which they will hear or sing in church, at school, or on the radio), hear a Bible lesson taught on their level, play games, and learn about missionaries around the world.
Children’s Choir
A time specifically set aside in training kids on music skills, worship theology, and singing of anthems/song/hymns. Kids will learn intentional song selections to teach them the importance of glorifying God through song as demonstrated in Scripture.
Bible Skills, Thrills, and Drills
Our desire is for kids to develop an understanding and love for God’s Word. They will learn how use and study the Bible, how to hide God’s Word in their heart (versus merely memorization), and hopefully develop a love for God’s self-revelation of Himself.
Wednesday Evening
Missions Journey: Kids
A missions education curriculum designed to deepen kids understanding of missionaries and missions work around the world and at home.
Music & Missions:
Kids begin with a time specifically set aside to train them in music skills, worship theology, and the singing of anthems/song/hymns. Kids will learn intentional song selections to teach them the importance of glorifying God through song as demonstrated in Scripture. Then they transition to a time of missions education designed to deepen kid’s understanding of missionaries and missions work around the world and at home. Kids will learn that they can glorify God and tell others about him, even now!
Sunday
9:30am-10:15am – Children’s Sunday School
10:30am-11:45am – Kids Worship (Pre-K-3rd Grade)
Wednesday
6:30pm-8:00pm – Music and Missions

The First Baptist Dublin Student Ministry is a place for 6th-12th graders to come fellowship with each other and worship the creator of the universe. Using weekly student worship on Wednesday nights, Sunday School small groups on Sunday morning, discipleship groups, Disciple-Now weekend, Summer Camp, Fall Retreat, and more, the students are engaged in gospel centered teaching and conversations often. We can’t wait to see you soon here at FBC Dublin!
VISION AND MISSION
The heart of our student ministry is for students to be forged into the people that God has called them to be. The process of forging centers on the idea that God is shaping and molding us into His image as we willfully submit to His plans and purposes.
Our ministry desires to see students challenged, discipled, and to pursue Christ in their lives so that God may be glorified through them. The programs, events, and gatherings that our student ministry participates in seeks to provide opportunities for our students to encounter Jesus, make meaningful relationships, and to mobilize their lives for the sake of Christ.
We desire to see the next generation rejoice in the good news of the Gospel, to live out biblical community, and to be on mission. We anticipate and expect great things from our students and rejoice in the ways that God works in and through their lives.
Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
